I should point out, if you also need to get What's Special about SA? trophy. This is the only portal in the entire process you need to take. Although, a tricky to get piece of an armor system is there. Do not go towards the left otherwise you will go to a dead end. Right after the second section you avoid being crush. I just remembered something about Recycle Lab. Otherwise, you might have some trial & errors especially with Recycle Lab. This trophy was never about facing Nightmare Zero. I hope this helps anyone struggling to get this or actually thought it was about facing Nightmare Zero more than once. None of this actually affects the Maverick boss fights. This usually affects particular sections within the stages. Most of these are to limit how you go about things. I recommend you practice some of these stages with and without these changes before hand. Most of them will alter your path to some degree that leads to one of the optional bosses instead. Also in Central Museum don't use any portals at all. Instead go right you should be fine from there. One more thing, Weapon Center don't enter the portal after defeating the mini boss twice. The entire point of this trophy is test your skills to see if you can do these harder versions of stages without optional bosses. Some of these changes are doable while others like parts of the ground being covered with ice in Recycle Lab can be challenging. Now yes you are facing all eight Mavericks with seven of their stages being more difficult. There should be a box you haven't seen before just wait for the trophy to appear. If you did this correctly go back to Laser Institute. I kept doing that during the entire process to making it easier for myself. I also recommend saving after you are sure one of the Mavericks is defeated. Otherwise the order will change making getting this trophy trickier. You need to play in this order without facing any optional bosses for this to work.
